What does the X45DR add over the X45?

A second head. The Eurodrill RH26X casing head rotates and advances casing at up to 125 rpm with 14,976 lb-ft (20.3 kNm) of torque while the top drive drills inside it — so the hole stays open through collapsing overburden and the RC sample stays clean. It was previously listed as the RC45DR.

What casing sizes can the X45DR run?

Casing up to 8 in (219 mm), with chucks for 3½, 5, 6 and 7 in (89–178 mm) and a 4 in (102 mm) diverter with hydraulically adjustable compression.

How deep can the X45DR drill?

Its spec sheet rates it beyond 1,000 ft, with over 45,000 lbs of pull-back and 18,740 lbs (8,500 kg) of push-down.
