TC24 TRACKED CARRIER

The TC24 Tracked Carrier serves as a multifunctional tool, offering the flexibility to transport and power a diverse range of equipment and tooling efficiently. It can also be fitted with a crane and rod/casing handling equipment.

Additionally, it acts as a hydraulic power pack that can power auxiliary equipment such as a piston pump, grouter and hydraulic loop reeler.

TC24 tracked carrier questions

Something we have not answered? Ask a driller.

What is the TC24 tracked carrier used for?

Moving and powering everything the rig does not carry itself: extra rods and casing, compressors, our MG500 mud system and other auxiliary equipment. It can be fitted with a crane and rod or casing handling equipment.

See the MG500 Mud Guzzler

Can the TC24 power other equipment?

Yes. It is a hydraulic power pack as well as a carrier, running auxiliary equipment such as a piston pump, a grouter or a hydraulic loop reeler from its 3,626 psi (250 bar) hydraulic system at up to 42 gpm (160 lpm).

See GTD mud pumps

How much can the TC24 carry?

Up to 26,455 lbs (12,000 kg) on a deck of 20 ft (6.2 m) or 26 ft 2 in (8 m), depending on the version.

How big is it, and how does it travel?

25 ft (7.6 m) or 30 ft 10 in (9.4 m) long, 7 ft 2 in (2.2 m) wide and 8 ft 10 in (2.7 m) high, weighing 16,500–22,000 lbs (7,500–10,000 kg) depending on options. It runs on Doosan Solar 75 tracks at 1.5–2.5 mph, climbs 25° grades, and is powered by a 110 hp Doosan DM03 Stage V engine.

What options are available?

An auxiliary power pack, self-loading, rod loading and casing loading systems, a HIAB crane, an auxiliary fuel tank and a driver cab.

How does it work with a drill rig?

It is built to work alongside GTD rigs on site. With a rod loading system fitted it brings extra rod for holes deeper than a rig’s on-board capacity — the X65DR, for example, carries 600 ft on board.
