How much flow and pressure does the MP2000PP deliver?
528 gpm (2,000 lpm) at 580 psi (40 bar), with 1,300 ft (400 m) of head. Figures come from real-world testing on drill rigs and are a guide, not a guarantee.
When is the MP2000PP the right choice?
For large-diameter holes and high-volume mud programs, where the MP1200PP’s 317 gpm is not enough flow. Piston pumps cost more to buy, but they are reconditioned rather than replaced, so the price is offset over time — plan rebuild time into the schedule.

Should I pair it with another pump?
Usually. A triplex piston pump plus a centrifugal pump covers both high pressure and high flow; in Europe two centrifugals (single- and multi-stage) are more common. GT rigs are configured for dual mud pumps.
