What is the X65?

The larger single-rotary rig in the X Series: a reverse circulation exploration rig on the GT Series platform, with a 513 hp Cummins X12 Stage 5 engine and 65,000 lbs of pull-back. It was previously listed as the RC65.

How much rod does the X65 carry?

1,200 ft of 25 ft rods in the standard rod rack and loader — 48 rods of 3½ in. Longer rods mean fewer connections per hole.

How deep can the X65 drill?

Beyond 1,000 ft. Air, ground and water set the practical limit in RC work, so we match the compressor and booster to the program.

What RC components are fitted?

A blast box, blowdown valves, an RC swivel and a sampling splitter, fitted from the factory.

How big is the X65 to transport?

41 ft (12.5 m) long, 8 ft 2 in (2.5 m) wide and 10 ft 3 in (3.2 m) high, weighing 66,000–77,000 lbs (30,000–35,000 kg) depending on options and rods, on Doosan Solar 130 tracks with wireless remote travel.

X65 or X65DR?

The X65 is the faster, simpler rig where the collar stands up. Where overburden collapses, the X65DR’s 29,500 lb-ft casing head holds the hole open, and it is rated beyond 2,600 ft.

On-site commissioning and training by our North American and global service teams, a service kit covering the first 2,000+ operating hours, and parts stores in New Hampshire (USA), Ontario (Canada) and Tonbridge (UK).
